Dr Bushra Ahmad qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999 from Guys' King's and St Thomas's Dental Institute. She then held a series of specialist hospital posts in maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry. During this time, Bushra gained her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She completed her specialist orthodontic training in 2006, obtaining a Master's Degree in Orthodontics in addition to a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons. Bushra is on the specialist list with the General Dental Council and is a member of the Specialist practitioner group of the British Orthodontic Society. Her ethos is based on providing high-quality orthodontic treatment centred on patient care and comfort. This is delivered using a wide range of braces, including cosmetic appliances and "invisible" lingual appliances. Outside work, Bushra is a busy mum of three young children, but also enjoys cooking and travelling.
