Dr Reza Mafi graduated with a Professional Doctorate in Dentistry from Azad Dental School in Tehran, Iran, in 1995. He practised dentistry in Iran for 14 years, gaining extensive clinical experience in a wide range of treatments and developing a strong commitment to high standards of patient care.
After relocating to the UK, he qualified as a dentist in 2008, having successfully passed his statutory examinations at King’s College London and University College London (UCL). Since 2009, Dr Mafi has practised general dentistry across Somerset, with a particular interest in restorative dentistry. He is passionate about helping patients restore both the function and appearance of their smiles, and takes pride in providing calm, ethical and patient-centred care. Dr Mafi has been based at his current practice in Weston-super-Mare for the past nine years and greatly values the relationships he has built with his patients and colleagues. He enjoys being part of a supportive team environment and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure he delivers modern, evidence-based treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr Mafi enjoys travelling with his wife and spending quality time with their three children.
