Carmen studied dentistry at the LIC Odont University in Seville and graduated in 2006. Since qualifying Carmen has worked at both practices in Seville and here in the U.K. Carmen joined us here at mydentist Dukinfield in May 2012 and ever since she has provided a high standard of NHS treatments; she provides informed, ethical and professional dentistry to ensure that any treatment carried out is in the best interest of the patient. Alongside this Carmen also offers a vast range of excellent cosmetic treatments, these include: tooth whitening, white fillings, cosmetic dentures and devices used to help with teeth clenching and grinding.

Humnah has been working in dentistry for 3 years; after graduating from Sheffield University in 2022, she has a wide range of experience in dental practices dealing with emergency dental care to everyday general dentistry, to cosmetic work. Humnah offers a range of general dentistry, such as crowns, bridges and dentures, alongside cosmetic dentistry including smile makeovers, composite bonding and clear aligners.
She has always had the passion for helping people. She always loves making patients feel comfortable, at ease and confident in the practice and discussing any concerns patients may have. She describes her role as a very fulfilling job. Friends and colleagues would describe Humnah as caring, hardworking and always willing to help others.
She has an eye for detail and cares about doing an outstanding job for every single patient. Putting the patient at the forefront is always her priority.
Humnah has volunteered with a charity called Dentaid, where she did an overseas volunteering trip to Uganda in 2024 setting up emergency clinics in schools and local communities delivering emergency care and promoting oral health. She has also volunteered at schools and nurseries.

Vera believes that the best way to treat her patients is to listen with care and understand their needs. With 23 years of experience in dentistry she has a supportive approach to every appointment, helping patients feel at ease.
She graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Lisbon. Vera has a special interest in conservative dentistry and minimally invasive techniques, including aesthetic bonding, composite veneers, and clear aligner therapy with ClearCorrect teeth straightening. She has delivered many successful bonding cases, offering patients beautiful results with less tooth destruction and lower costs than traditional lab-made restorations.
Having worked as a lecturer in Dental Radiology and currently supporting internationally qualified dentists in the UK, she is passionate about making dentistry more human—both for patients and for professionals.
She holds an MSc in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy, which she uses to support patients experiencing anxiety or stress. Her gentle and reassuring presence helps even the most nervous patients feel safe. She is also experienced in treating children.
Colleagues describe her as kind, grounded, and quietly meticulous. Vera has a strong eye for detail and a genuine drive to help people feel better about their smiles—and themselves.

Miss Abosede Mayowa Alade is a dedicated and skilled dental professional with a strong background in general dentistry and a commitment to advancing her clinical expertise. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Ibadan in 2018 and is a registered member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).In 2022, she relocated to the United Kingdom to further her education and professional development. She successfully completed a Master of Science in Advanced General Dental Practice at Ulster University, earning a commendation for her academic excellence in 2023.After a thorough assessment of her qualifications and experience, the General Dental Council (GDC) granted her full registration as a Dental Therapist in 2023. She currently practices as a Dental Therapist, where she focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, preventive treatments, and periodontal therapy.Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth, Miss Alade is committed to enhancing her clinical skills and staying up to date with advancements in modern dentistry.
