    Thomas Mann Implantologist Qualified from: BChD University of Leeds 2015 GDC No: 258640

    Tom qualified from the University of Leeds and worked in Surrey before moving to Devon. Tom has trained extensively in the UK and internationally, across many aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, full mouth reconstructions and dental implants. This broad range of training allows him to take a comprehensive approach to treating patients, in order to deliver high quality, long-lasting dental care. Tom’s particular passion is dental implants and he is currently completing a masters degree in this field. Tom visits a number of practices in Devon to provide dental implants and is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He enjoys seeing how dental implants can restore someone’s confidence in smiling and improve their quality of life by having strong and stable teeth to use.Tom loves to ski and play golf as well as keeping fit through cycling, running and going to the gym.

    Dr Martin Petkov GDP Qualified from: DMD Sofia 2014 GDC No: 253551

    Martin qualified in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2014 and decided to move to England to develop his skills further towards the end of 2015. He has worked in several busy practices throughout Devon and neighbouring Dorset. Martin has a keen interest on oral surgery and implements a variety of prosthetic methods to replace missing teeth in the dentition. Martin constantly tries to build upon his knowledge and understanding to provide better and more complete patient care.Being experienced in general dental practice, he always strives to provide great quality NHS and private dentistry.As a hobby, he enjoys weight training and outdoor activities such as hiking or a day at the beach in lovely Devon.

    Kabir qualified as a dentist at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2016 and is currently working on his Masters, as well as numerous other qualifications.Since qualifying as a dentist, Kabir has working tirelessly as an NHS dentist in and around the Birmingham area. Now Kabir as moved to the Westcountry in order to enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside and support our local and more rural community.Patients report that Kabir is kind and gentle with a keenness to ensure every patient feels comfortable, well informed and welcome in his surgery.Kabir has a passion for hiking on Dartmoor and relaxing on the beautiful Devon and Cornwall beaches.

    Nyaradzo was trained at DMD University of Debrecen in 2017 and has proven herself to be a very motivated dentist who is committed to providing modern and high-quality dental care in a professional and empathetic manner. She has special interests in both paediatric and cosmetic dentistry. Nyaradzo is devoted to improving her knowledge and skillset as new techniques emerge in order to provide the highest level of patient care possible.     Pavle graduated from Sarajevo University, Sarajevo, in 1990, followed by the GDC Statutory Exam 1999 UK (MA Bus Exeter University, 2014) and has since worked in several countries in Africa, Europe and the UK, fulfilling various roles in dentistry. Pavle enjoys working in general dental practice in a single surgery and has extensive experience in leadership and ownership of a group of practices. Pavle is an experienced clinician who provides a scope of clinical dental services.From working in the Maxillo-Facial department in London hospitals to being a member of homoeopathic and hypnotic societies, and all the aspects of general dental care, he is a reliable source of information, diagnosis and solution for most dental problems.Pavle is a keen golfer and skier.

    Fern Rodgers Hygienist Qualified from: BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy University of Plymouth 2024 GDC No: 291046

    Fern qualified as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist with distinction from the University of Plymouth in 2024. Her journey in dentistry began as a Trainee Dental Nurse, giving her a strong foundation and years of hands-on experience in patient care. Fern is passionate about promoting excellent oral health and keeps up to date with the latest knowledge and techniques. She is currently undertaking additional training focused on implant maintenance, expanding her ability to support patients with a wide range of dental needs. While Fern enjoys using her full scope as a dental therapist, her true passion lies in treating and managing gum disease. She is a strong advocate for preventative care and offers direct access appointments, allowing patients to begin their oral hygiene journey without needing to see a dentist first. Outside of work, Fern enjoys spending quality time with her family, often exploring new places, travelling, and enjoying the outdoors through camping adventures.

    Lorraine Reeves Hygienist Qualified from: Certificate of Proficiency in Dental Hygiene 1976 GDC No: 1445

    Born in Yelverton, daughter of Plymouth and Yelverton dentist Barry Mann and was educated at Tavyside and Tavistock College.On returning from 2 years working in Zimbabwe Itrained as a Dental Hygienist with the Army.Then took a BA Hons in English and Fine Art and a PGCE (English) at London University.I taught English in Watford but left after two years to run a Dental Practice in Rickmansworth Herts.Since then, I have worked in Harley St. with Lionel Wainstein, Cavendish Square with Prof. Eddy Levinson and Neville Bass in Queen Ann St. London among others.After having two daughters, I worked in Clifton, Bristol before moving back down to Devon in 2006. I have been with Tavistock Dental Centre since 2009.I am an author and illustrator of children’s books and play cello and sing in a band.

    Maxine Kane Hygienist Qualified from: Certificate of Proficiency in Dental Hygiene 1982 Certificate of the Committee of Management Dental Therapist 1979 GDC No: 10838

    Maxine qualified as a Dental Therapist in 1979 at New Cross School for Dental Therapists and then took a further course in Dental Hygiene at Birmingham dental school and qualified together with and gaining the Dental Health Education Diploma in 1982. Over the last 40 years, Maxine has worked in Community care, NHS and private practice, with a spell of four years abroad in Zimbabwe. In 2008, Maxine took a teaching post for eight years at Plymouth university and gained a Certificate of Education in 2013 and graduated with PGCE in 2016.Maxine’s overriding preoccupation is supporting her husband in a building project, which has been ongoing over the last few years and in her 'spare' time she enjoys ballet, reading and walking especially on the moor.

    Mohammad is a GDC‑registered Dental Therapist and Hygienist committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care across both NHS and private services. Working within his defined scope of practice under referral, he offers a comprehensive range of preventive, periodontal and oral health maintenance treatments. His approach centres on supporting patients in achieving long‑term oral health through evidence‑based practice, personalised treatment planning, and clear communication. Mohammad joined the team in late 2025 and currently divides his time between the Torquay and Okehampton practices, contributing his skills and experience to both communities. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Khartoum in 2020, where he developed a strong foundation in preventive and restorative dentistry. After practising in Sudan, he relocated to the UK, bringing with him valuable clinical insight, adaptability, and a compassionate, patient‑centred philosophy. He is dedicated to creating a calm, comfortable, and reassuring environment for every patient, emphasising education, prevention, and the development of positive dental habits. Mohammad is passionate about helping individuals maintain healthy, confident smiles and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standard of care.
